The following is a news release from the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office regarding recent arrests:
James McSweeney, 50, of Merryville. McSweeney was arrested Sept. 23 in Merryville by narcotics task force agents. He is charged with possession of marijuana (third offense) following an NTF investigation. McSweeney was processed into the parish jail. Bond is set at $40,000.
Rodney D. Bailey Jr., 30, of DeRidder. Bailey was arrested Sept. 25 in DeRidder. He is charged with criminal neglect of family for not paying child support. Bailey was processed into the parish jail where he remains under a probation violation hold.
Angela R. Sanchez, 30, of Starks. Sanchez was arrested Sept. 25 in Singer following a traffic stop. Sanchez was wanted in for her part in an attempting carjacking which occurred in Starks on Aug. 27 near Starks. Sanchez was processed into the parish jail. Bond is set at $20,000.
Robert J. LeBleu, 29, of DeQuincy. LeBleu was arrested Sept. 27 in DeRidder. LeBleu is charged with resisting an officer for giving a false name to during an investigation of a suspicious vehicle. LeBleu was processed into the parish jail. Bond to be set. LeBleu also has a probation violation hold.
